What Kinds of Documents Need a Mobile Notary?

Below are just a sample of the documents that we can notarize for you.

Real Estate Forms

Buying and selling a home is no easy-peasy. There can be dozens upon dozens of documents that are required for even the simplest of closings. Most of these closings require a notary’s stamp.

It’s essential to have an accurate real estate closing to ensure that the contractors agree with the bounds of the contract. A real estate notary can help ensure that your client signed where required and can help verify identity check.

Business Documents

Most business agreements don’t always require a notary, but a notary’s presence is recommended. It’s helpful to have an impartial third party to witness a deal and verify the signatures, should that business have to appear before a court.

Family Documents

There are many things that need to be done after a person passes away, and the only way to ensure that a deceased person’s wishes are met is to complete a will, trust, or deed. These are legal documents that verify what to do after death, including funeral preferences and dividing assets. A notary public needs to validate these documents for them to be deemed authentic.

Affidavits

There are many instances where people need legal documents to support their claims. Some are of little value (ex. obtaining certain licenses) and some are not (ex. buying and selling property). In more serious matters, you will find that you need legal documents to certify certain claims you want to make. These documents will contain facts or information claimed to be correct by you and get legal force when a notary public signs it.

Powers of Attorney

A power of attorney (POA) is a legal document that grants a person or organization the legal authority to act on another person’s behalf. Power of attorneys are important documents with potentially life-saving consequences.

People may choose to get a POA when:

  • Making financial decisions
  • Making health or medical decisions
  • Protecting or claiming personal or estate assets
  • Operating business interests/transactions
